Where brewing kettles once steamed and industrial history was made, one of Denmark’s most exciting urban neighborhoods is now taking shape: the new district on the historic site of the former Carlsberg Brewery.
In the heart of this area—at Kedelpladsen—modern residential and commercial buildings are shaping the neighborhood’s new look. For the façade design, the goal was to find a solution that respects the area’s industrial past while also allowing for a clean, contemporary architectural style.
TA-FlexLine design profiles made of painted Aluminium were used, lending the buildings a calm, precise line and elegantly structuring the façade surfaces. The repetitive arrangement of the design profiles creates a calm structure that gives the façade and clean lines.
The result is a façade that blends naturally into the new cityscape while at the same time developing its own identity.

Custom design profiles from the TA-FlexLine series were used for the project in Carlsberg Byen. The profiles enable precise alignment and can be flexibly adapted to different façade layouts and architectural details.

The result is a façade that exudes tranquility while also impressing with its clean lines.
The façade profiles were painted in RAL 8015 Brown. The color blends well with the surroundings of the historic Carlsberg site and echoes the site’s industrial character.
Combined with the precise lines of the design profiles, the result is a building envelope that has a modern look while still connecting to the site’s history.
