8. Trusted Shops
Our website uses the Trusted Shops trustbadge to display our Trusted Shops quality seal and, as appropriate, the aggregated rankings as well as the offer of Trusted Shops products to our customers following an order. It is done for the purposes of our legitimate interest in ensuring the optimal marketing of our products, which was deemed overriding in the course of a balancing of interests. The trustbadge and the services it advertises are offered by Trusted Shops GmbH, Subbelrather Str. 15C, 50823 Cologne.

9. Use of Google Analytics with Anonymisation Function
Our website employs Google Analytics, a web analytics service offered by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google”. Google Analytics employs the so-called “cookies”, text files which are saved to your computer and thus enable an analysis of data concerning your website usage.
The information provided by cookies, for instance the time, place and frequency of your visits to the website, including your IP address, is transferred to Google in the USA and recorded there. We use Google Analytics with the IP Anonymisation Function on our website. Google removes part of your IP address and thus renders it anonymous already within the territory of the EU member states or other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.
Google uses this information to analyse your usage of our website, prepare reports on the website activity for us and provide services related to Internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf.
According to information provided by Google, it will never use your IP address in connection with other Google data. You can prevent the installation of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser. In addition, Google provides an opt-out option for the most popular browsers which gives you more control over what data are collected and processed by Google. If you activate this option, no information on your website visits will be transferred to Google Analytics. Yet the activation does not prevent information from being transferred to us or other employed web analysis services, as the case may be. You can find more information on the opt-out option provided by Google and on its activation if you follow this link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
10. Use of Google+ Recommendations
Our website employs the +1 button from Google+ owned by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google”.
Each time our website receives an access request including a “+1” component, the component prompts your browser to download an image of this component from Google. In the course of this process, Google is informed which page of our website is being visited. According to the information provided by Google, your visit undergoes additional analysis in the event that you are not logged into your Google account.
If you access our website while logged into your Google account and press the “+1” button, Google can collect information about your Google account, the websites you recommend as well as your IP address along with other browser-related information.
This allows your “+1” recommendation to be stored and publicised. Thus, your Google “+1” recommendation can appear as a reference in other Google services, such as search results, your Google account or other places, e.g. on websites and in online ads, along with your account name and, if applicable, the picture you provided to Google. Moreover, Google can link your visit to our website with your data stored by Google. In addition, Google records this information for the purpose of improving Google services.
If you wish to ensure that Google collects as little information as possible, you need to log out of your Google account before visiting our website.
You can access Google’s data protection notice concerning the “+1” button together with all relevant information on the collection, transfer and use of data by Google, your related rights and your profile settings options, if you follow this link: https://developers.google.com/+/web/buttons-policy.
11. Use of Facebook Components
Our website employs the so-called social plugins (hereinafter “plugins”) of the social network Facebook, a service of Facebook Inc., 1601 S. You can find an overview of Facebook plugins and their appearance, if you follow this link: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins. When you access a page of our website which contains such a plugin, your browser connects directly to Facebook’s servers. Facebook transfers the content of the plugin directly to your browser and the page. Thus, Facebook is notified of your access to the relevant page of our website through the browser even if you have no Facebook account or if you are not logged into your Facebook account at the moment. This information (including your IP address) is transferred directly to a Facebook server in the USA and recorded there. If you are logged in to your Facebook account, Facebook can connect the visit to our website directly with your Facebook account. If you interact with the plugins, for instance you press the “Like” button or leave a comment, this information is likewise transferred directly to a Facebook server and recorded there. In addition, the information is published on your Facebook profile and displayed to your Facebook friends. You can find out about the purpose and extent of data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook as well as your related rights and settings options to protect your privacy from Facebook’s data protection notice: http://www.facebook.com/policy.php. If you do not want Facebook to connect the data collected via our website directly with your Facebook account, you need to log out of your Facebook account before accessing our website. Moreover, you can completely prevent Facebook plugins from
loading with browser add-ons, for instance “Facebook Blocker” (http://webgraph.com/resources/facebookblocker/).).

However, neither we nor other Google AdWords advertisers receive any information thanks to which we could identify users as specific persons.
You can prevent the installation of conversion cookies by means of a relevant setting in your browser, which either generally deactivates the automatic installation of cookies or specifically blocks only cookies from the domain “googleadservices.com”.
